Kamikaze Birds and other weirdness.

Okay, a strange thing happened on the first of this month.

My sister and I were driving to the library on the way home from a store, when there was a white looking blur and a sort or ricocheting sound off my partially open window. My sister said whatever it was had hit her in the head. I supposed it was a wad of paper some careless car passengers had thrown out and had been sucked through our car window. We left it at that until we got to the library where she could look around. She pulled aside my coat, and found the culprit.

It was a dead bird. It was smaller than a tennis ball and had somehow ended up blowing through my window and smacking into her head.

And that's about the weirdest thing that's happened to me lately.

What about you guys?

Any weird things happen to you lately?

Birthday!

Everyone!

Today is my Birthday.

YAAAAAAY! I know. ^^

As a special deal for my birthday, anyone who wants an art trade, step up!

I've never done one before, but that won't stop me! XD

(Actually, it's not really a special deal, because I'd do one anytime if someone actually asked, but now you know you can! Isn't that lovely?)

Just comment or note me or something, and I'll get back to you.

Have a lovely day, everyone!

Clowns are...

Most of you would guess I'd say 'scary.'

You'd be right, as most clowns have a creep factor of about 1800/10.

But...

I found that clowns are NOT scary when

A) They have abs that could grate cheese

and

B) Those abs are always showing.

I'm speaking or Pierrot from Yakitate!! Japan, who fulfills both those categories nicely.
He's still creepy at first, but he remains the only clown I really like.

Besides Pierrot, Yakitate!! Japan is an EXCELLENT anime, which I wholeheartedly recommend.

The premise is a boy named Azuma Kazuma wants to make a bread that the Japanese can enjoy as much as rice.

It also has the largest amount of Japanese language puns I have ever seen, absurd reactions to deliciousness, and lots of anime parodies.

It's like Iron Chef on crack with a bread theme, and I love it.

Colds and other news.

I have a cold. A really, really bad cold, where even your teeth are hurting and you can hardly breathe out of your nose.

My dad told me at least three times that I looked like "Death warmed over, only not warmed very well." Ha ha. THAT'LL speed up my recovery.

On the plus side, I've been reading some really neat fanfics, only they aren't done yet...

I also have many sketches that want to be turned into real drawings, (some FOR the aforementioned fanfiction) only I can seem to draw well at all.

Poo. And just when Dual moniters were re-enabled. :(

Anyhoo, here's hoping for a speedy recovery!

In defense of Kishimoto

Okay, for everyone who has been reading the Naruto manga...

I've been hearing a heck of a lot of griping lately. It seems a lot of people dislike what has happened to the manga recently, and admittedly, there are valid concerns and everyone has the right to their own opinion.

However... I find it extremely distasteful when all people do is whine about how the manga doesn't fit their tastes anymore, and dig at Kishimoto for EVERY LITTLE THING THEY DON'T LIKE. Maybe he's lost touch with his fan base. Maybe he had to adjust the story because his editor insisted it last 'so long'. Maybe this is just a slump, and the ending will be great. But which of you out there KNOWS what's going on? I certainly don't, which is why I like to give him the benefit of the doubt.

You don't like the manga anymore? Fine. That's your opinion. Other people do, and it would be nice if people could criticize a little less, as it tends to suck the enjoyment out of it for those who do.

Thank you.
